Heres a sneak preview of the Hein Gericke 4 The Ride TV commercial which will be running alongside Eurosports coverage of MotoGP, WSB and BSB for the remainder of the season. It was filmed in sunny Lincolnshire and stars Roger & Jayne from HG Leeds, Rich from HG Hull and two of our customers, Chris & Rachel. Hopefully itll raise a smile… Let us know what you think.

So in January I wrote about the Paul Smith store in Nottingham. Now i’m going to swoon over the store in Leeds. Back in February myself and PK ventured into Leeds at night to photograph our background panoramas for this years Hein Gericke advertising campaigns. On our return to the car we walked past the PS shop and I had to stop and take a quick snap of the pure quality and simplicity of their window display. Yes, I do have a light fascination with Paul Smith…but…. you can’t deny the genius behind the man and his branding and marketing ideas. So British too, which is nice, and makes a nice change! So here’s Leeds at night in February…

Just a classic chair with a suit laid over it, it makes me want to walk in and put it on!

A few weekends ago I returned to Leeds for a spot of summer shopping and to celebrate my girlfriend’s dad’s 50th. So, on passing the PS store ths time, another treat! This time in the form of a cufflink display. This is pure genius!

Now everyone must be aware I have a a love of trainers and although I got a pair of Puma Popart Lo’s for Xmas, I went and treat myself to a pair of Puma Pop Art Meds so I found them here. They arrived a few days after I ordered them and one of the first things I noticed was the sticker on the side of the box which reads ‘Packed by Micha’. Not only was I impressed with my new purchase I was equally impressed with this touch of ‘tlc’ as I am a stickler for all things quirky which makes your shopping experience that little bit better!

I’ve just had a lovely weekend away with my girlfriend in Nottingham. We visit Nottingham regularly. All for one reason. The Paul Smith ’store’.If you haven’t been, go! If you’re creative minded, like fashion, like british heritage, enjoyed music of the 60’s/70’s and/or enjoy walking through thoroughbred English town houses (that has to be 99.9% of the public covered!) then get there, it’s inspiring and makes me feel lucky to be photographing there Spring/Summer collection ‘09 very soon!!

- A solid knowledge of programming languages such as; ASP.NET (VB and C#), ASP, JavaScript, AJAX, SQL and XML

- A working knowledge of Relational Database design and development

- Working knowledge of (X)HTML, CSS, browser compatibility, usability and accessibility issues

- Working knowledge of web development applications such as Visual Studio, SQL Enterprise Manager/SQL Management Studio and Photoshop

- Be able to demonstrate excellent communication skills

- 2+ Years commercial Experience.

- SEO Knowledge and PHP knowledge would be advantageous

How ironic that they use the Pink Panther to to promote their latest masterpiece in football boots the BRIGHT PINK Nike Mercurial Vapor Rosa!  Star of the ad, France international ‘midfield dynamo’ Franck Ribery looks the part as he struts his stuff! I can’t stop watiching it! Nike always seem to  deliver when it comes to quirky advertising campaigns and this is no different.. a real gem!
